Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) showed that they were a generous lot when
they collected RM16,865.85 for the people in Somalia who were suffering from
famine and disaster.
According to UMP Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato’ Dr Daing Nasir
Ibrahim, they were really concern about the sufferings of the Somalis.
“I am proud with the commitment showed by the denizens who came together to help
ease the burden of people in Somalia,” he said when presenting a mock cheque to east coast
NSTP sales manager Fauzi Abdul Hamid on December 28, 2011.
