Un i v e r s i t i M a l a y s i a Pahang (UMP) and Telekom Malaysia Bhd.. (TM) recently marked another historical milestone when the two sealed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), with the latter agreeing to provide MetroEthernet (Metro-E) and wireless broadband (Wi-Fi) access services, connecting the two UMP campuses in Gambang and Pekan. The MoU, aimed at developing Internet broadband access at UMP, was signed on February 11, 2011, at the university’s Banquet Hall at the Chancellery Building in Gambang.
